A funeral service for Michael Howard Dext of Montauk will be held on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton. Mr. Dext, who was 67, died on Tuesday.

Maureen Gaviola, formerly of Montauk, died at home in Pompano Beach, Fla., on Saturday. She was 68. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton. A funeral Mass will be said on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Montauk.

Word has been received of the death of Elaine Greene Weisburg, who had a long career in the magazine industry, at home in San Diego on Nov. 23. Ms. Weisburg, formerly of Sag Harbor and Manhattan, had been ill for a brief time. She was 98.
